2021 VW Golf 8 R Unveiled

VW’s all conquering VW Golf 8 R will be released to UK showrooms in 2021 with power boosted to 316 BHP and brand new interior architecture more akin to Audi and Porsche.

With the traditional AWD and Dual Clutch gearbox, the new Golf R will deliver a 0-62 time of 4.7 seconds and the traditionally limited 155 MPH can be unlocked to reach 168 MPH if you opt for the optional R-Performance pack.

The car has also received a host of mechanical upgrades and technical upgrades too including bigger brakes and a lower centre of gravity to improve performance.

 Early 2021 see the new car land on British shores with a starting price of £37,000 – possibly the first time a German landing was eagerly anticipated!
